Welcome to Heights Ville along with more than ninety percent of my creative works have come from dreams. I remember once asking God what’s my purpose in life and periodically I will get these wild intense dreams that when I woke up I had the immediate urge to write what I saw in a book. As time went by I found myself turning these notes into nobels and scripts.

Prospect Park was definitely a challenge due to the fact eight writers were involve but I loved every minute of it because we bounce ideas back and forth without undermining the other person ideas. Absolutely no egos was displayed during the writing process. We all were assigned a role, an episode and we executed.

About Me

Bringing Creative Stories To Life

Devon McCarthy originated and grew up in the breathtaking island of Trinidad, one half of the twin islands, Trinidad and Tobago. At an early age, he displayed the love for having a wild imagination. In October 2005, he migrated to the United States with no clue of what the future will be like. During his pursuit to find his true path in life, he realized that throughout that period, he had many vivid visions for consecutive weeks. He commenced taking written notes of these visions and that’s where he figured out his true calling is to become “An author”.

In 2009 he began writing his debut fiction novel, “Welcome to Height’s Ville” which took him about six months in a couple-year span to complete. After the release of his book in April of 2014, close friends, family, and strangers started reading the book, they inquired about the existence of a sequel. While he was in the process of compiling the outline for the second part of the book, one of his friends requested for him to write a screenplay for their midterm exam. Devon obliged and a few days later his buddy turned in the assignment and received a grade A. It was on that day, Mr. McCarthy decided on becoming not only an author but additionally a screenplay writer, also referred to as a scriptwriter.
